I am a Texas Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor with more than 18 years of professional counseling experience. I provide a compassionate, welcoming online space where you can share your concerns and learn effective, Biblical techniques to overcome life’s challenges. There's no topic that is off limits because there's nothing that is impossible for the healing power of Jesus. I look forward to seeing you hope again.
Counseling Orientation
My counseling approach is one that pulls from a holistic lens and is fully dependent on each client’s unique circumstances and needs. I primarily utilize Carl Roger’s Person-Centered Therapy by allowing you to be the authority on your healing journey. I also have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Reality Therapy, Mindfulness, and behavioral interventions as deemed appropriate. As we work to develop our therapeutic relationship, my approach will pivot based on your individual needs and goals. However, as a Christian therapist, I will always work to point you to the Word of God and the truths found in Scripture. I will also be obedient to the Holy Spirit when I receive prophetic insight to share with you to help you along in your journey.
Personal Connection & Testimony
Drawing from both personal and professional experience, I understand many of the struggles my clients face. I am living proof that freedom and healing are possible through Jesus Christ if you are willing to put in the work. My desire is to be both an example and a testimony that the best is yet to come when we place our trust in Him, lay down our past pains and hurts and are willing to go through the process of forgiving those who have wronged us.
